so this week was awesome. as was the week before. and i havent come to this for a while. so i decided an update was in order, especially because anna likes me to update. as does mel head and gangster diana. 

first off, we made playoffs for basketball and i am truly excited. one drawback is that our first game is on ring day, which does me that casper, my ring sister, cannot do everything she may want to because if she were to get me tired, i would be rather angry. but besides that, we are play at oak park at 7:30 i believe. so if you can come, please do, it would me a lot to us.  aside from that, basketball has been awesome, and i really love our team. and i love how fellow schoolmates will come to our games and cheer us on. trivial as it may seem, it really does motivate us and show us that there is support at our all-girls school even though we do not play at home.  so thank you to everyone who comes out to support us for our games.

i'm too lazy to type, so i'll bullet point everything else:

• my birthday was awesome because my friends are awesome: we went to CPK after our marlborough game and my awesome teammates got me a yummerful cake and me and olivia were laughing very hard outside while we were running and it was magical.
• senior night/day: against la salle, we won and lots of people supported which was great. afterwards, lauren my sister and lindsey my offspring took me to santa monica and hooters. i need not say more.
• lauren's bday: at hamburger hamlet's was fun fun with my team as well.
• we almost got third in league
• UCSD is a very nice campus: we went on a bus with CSF there and it was fun because i hung out with cherryl, amy, alyssa, and tina all day long.

i have never studied this much for finals.

hell, i`ve never studied for finals before. period. and that has been my entire weekend. ugh im tired of being cooped up in this house. however, i find it hard to believe that today i accomplished something that i have not done since summer: lay outside and just soak up the sun. today was such a beautiful day. granted i was in a sweatshirt and sweatpants, so i did not feel the cool air around my arms, but it was so nice and sunny.  days like this tell me that i shouldnt go outside of cali for college. but then days like my ever-so-wonderful christmas vacation remind me of how much i love the northwest. ahhhh i dont have to bother until a year from now.

on another note, i feel so accomplished =). not only have i studied for 3 of my finals, but i worked out some and shot plenty of  shots this weekend. ive never been so useful in one weekend. hence it has been a three day weekend, but still, let me bask in my glory.

i notice finals has consumed the majority of this entry.

on to another subject: i really dont know. i didnt plan to digress, but alas, i have. what are we going to do now. i`ll end it here.

so like this week was totally hectic/stressful/great. but i still need sleep. and to study.

it all started on saturday...when the awesomest people surprised me by coming to my game at NDA, the baller chick, white chick, gangsters, and kenny. and we got to hang out and eat, the two best activities in the world, after basketball. so that was a fun night. let me tell you, they are awesome and cool and just simply super. you just dont know how awesome they are because i thought i wasn't going to be able to see them until like spring or even summer. but yeah lets just say they`re some of my best friends.

and sunday was fun with vball. and this week was unbelieveably killer. because of all the "review" for finals which really was just oh shiitake mushrooms i have no idea what i`ve learned this year. which totally sucks but im getting my memory back....slowly. and we had two games which we won which is great and i love my bball team this year because they`re awesome and so much fun to be around and everything is just dandy. but you know, finals coming = stress so regardless of who you have around you, theres that ever hovering cloud of doom awaiting your every move. but i got to go to a UCI game last night and that was cool and fun and such. it made me realize how much i love bball and stuff...and how i really love to play and it reawakened my desire to play collegiate basketball, not volleyball. i think i became a little stressed in the past few weeks because i forgot how to enjoy bball for a little and i focused so much on little things, not on the whole big picture, but now im studying for finals for the first time in my high school career and i dont feel the least bit worried because...i really dont know why.

ive become addicted to sudokus, even though i`ve only finished one, im so determined to becoming 'good' at them its sad. i keep trying but im really bad at them but its okay because they give me a distraction from other things. such as cleaning my room =).

i was as vague as i could get with this entry.

first and foremost, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

ahhh so the past month....i`ve only had the past two weeks to breathe. before that....welll lets just say i dont want to go back to school. at all. lets see...

i spent the last ten days in bellevue, washington, with my cousins and that was simply awesome. i got to try snowboarding which is lots of fun, however i do prefer surfing over that...and got some time to myself where i got hooked on this anime show and fan fiction. played plenty of video games and that was fun i must say, and i got to bond with my younger cousin because i stayed in her room. during this time, i also did something i havent done since eighth grade: read for pleasure. and what an insightful experience this was. let me highly recommend the curious incident  of the dog in the night-time. it`s simply amazing. during the first two days, we traveled to victoria, canada as well to visit relatives. i`ll have pictures up later.

before that was the providence tournament and that was rather fun for me because i got to see some friends. we went 2-2 which isn`t that bad.

never in my life have i ever been so happy that it is christmas vacation.  and this means, as of today, three more days until i get to hop on a plane to see my family. and go to the snow hopefully. and go snowboarding =). and simply do nothing. yes, besides homework, i will be doing nothing after christmas. i think that my decision to make all of my christmas gifts was one of the dumbest in the world.

the christmas program was fun. afterwards was even funner. gee whiz i love the basketball team this year. what we did? we took pictures, ate thai bbq, and had a kick back practice. basically we bonded. it was awesome. even better was that the day before we finally won a game, a league game no less, against ramona convent. =D. awesome no?

since when did california become so cold. im freezing.

oooh i`m updating. it`s been a really really long time. i think i seem to update everytime i see mel and diana or something like that. because i think that they`re the only ones who really enjoy this. buuuut since someone does enjoy it, it`s definitely worth writing in riiiiight??? yes.

knotts was awesomE!!! especially since it was with the team of course.  pictures down looooooow. awesome is all i can say...

after knotts was...i dont remember. but something else new is that no longer am i a year-round bball player, but i will be playing vball this offseason (off of vball season offseason). its preettty cool i guess man.

some people like this season for the holidays, others for the weather. personally i love this season because of the holidays + vacations + basketball + SATSUMA TANGERINES that is the best fruit ever invented, the satsuma tangerine. ahhhh we have TWO tangerine trees and i`m getting antsy from waiting for their fruit to become eatable. "everything in this room is eatable...even me except thats called cannibalism my dear children and thats frowned upon in most societies" that was from charlie and the chocolate factory which came out about two weeks ago. so go buy it. on DVD. the special edition one i mean. because it is simply AWESOME.

WARNING: i talk about harry potter & the goblet of fire next, do not read if you do not want to know anything about it. thank you.i saw harry potter & the goblet of fire lsat night with 4/5 of the team + kenny.  that was fun except that they skipped so much of the book.  BLAH. the whole movie, either mel or linds got the wrath of me saying "hey! they skipped _______ !!!!" hahahaha. but oh well, i guess it was as good as a movie could get. thats all i will say.

ahhh seattle this christmas. maybe i can convince my uncle and cousins and parents to let me try snowboarding? that might me magical. magically fun!i cannoooot wait for this trip even though i will be missing a basketball game and four days of practice because of it. but hell, it`s worthit because i get to see my family.  i think i have a newfound sense of value for my family members thanks to my trip to indonesia this summer. i mean i want to see them now, as opposed to being i-dont-really-care about seeing family its no big deal. i guess it`s all a part of growing up.  i`m a junior. soemtimes i have to say that five times before it semi-sinks in for the moment. time flies when you`re having fun.

oh yeah last week i went to disneyland. that was fun stuff. there are pictures of that as well down there.

and at the end of october i went on the junior retreat. i love my junior sisters. it was the best retreat i have ever een that was corny. enough of the cornishness.

enough of that. don`t eat too many satsuma tangerines, i want some too.
